Badlands 2.7, 8800 miles, 91 octane, Panda Power Pack. Most of my driving is around town and many trips to Winter Park and Kremmling from Fort Collins (Trail Ridge Road 3 times in the past 2 weeks and a couple of off-road side trips). Experimenting with ECO since July 1 in highway and in-town driving has boosted the lifetime mpg from the low 18's to the current 19.8. I do not baby it.

I have the 2.3L with K&N intake, AFE power module and flowmaster axel back exhaust with 35s and I am getting 15mpg city or highway so some of you should feel lucky with the mileage you’re getting.

In Southern California where I live, the sea level is about 728'. I get about 16.8 mpg on average (11.5 on the trails) . While in Moab which is higher elevation, I was getting about 19-20 mpg on pavement (and 13 while on the trails).

I just took a 2500 mile round trip through New Mexico, Colorado, Moab, Kansas and back to Oklahoma. Never reset the trip data. 16.7mpg.

While driving around the city, I average about 15.

When i see someone say they get 19 or better I assume they roll down hills in every direction they drive. I honestly do not believe anyone can really get that without outside unusual circumstances.... rolling down hill, wind always blowing behind you, not exceeding 40mpg ever, no highway driving.

Recently completed a 3000 mile road trip taking kids to/from various summer camps. Averaged 20.1 mpg for the trip which was 80% on Interstate highways and mainly using Eco mode. Highway cruising speeds generally between 75 and 80 mph. I've also been using 93 octane since April and have found it gives me about 2 mpg better results on average...so in the end close to a wash on the cost delta given the increased mileage. Also, I've noticed better engine responsiveness and power since going to the 93.

Started out at just about 17 MPG, but it has crept down to about 16.4 with almost exclusive city driving over about 1800 miles so far. I love 'Sport Mode', so that may be having a detrimental effect on my overall MPGs.

For the people getting 17 or better, what gas are you using? I'm getting 16.5 on regular.
