What gas mileage are you getting with 2.7 and SAS?

Just hit lucky 7...k. road trip from Texas to Colorado and back.

Have the 2-door, 2.7L Badlands, non-sas.

Avg 19.1 Hwy. Gas hurts.

Between 17-21 as long as I stay under 70

4dr Sasquatch lifted on 37s with 2.7 and panda power module, always 91 octane and getting 16mpg or better on average.

On factory setup with 35s was getting 17-18mpg.

37x12.5r17 (C load range) BFG KO2 on Sasquatch wheels

22.6 mpg on recent all-highway (nearly) 600 mile trip.
Eco mode, 65-75mph, not using cruise control.

Around town, stop n go local driving
18-19mpg.

Not much difference w around town driving in Normal mode.

Sport mode - I personally drive so differently that I couldn’t honestly say any gas use is the mode vs. my foot and I haven’t driven in that mode so continuously to gauge its effect on mileage.

I stick to 87 octane
but
I have noticed significant differences with mileage depending on which brand of gas I buy and where I get it.
Same experiences with 2014 Raptor, 2021 Edge and 2021 Mazda CX-30 so not a Bronco thing.

Cumberland Farms in Storrs, CT and Mobil gas stations along the CT Turnpike were the worst.

Exon and Shell in NJ, RI and NH are clearly different. Maybe different ethanol content.

I just drove 865 miles from the North Carolina coast to SE Michigan and got 18.5mpg. I was consistently over the speed limit. 75.....ish.

Sounds like most are running 87 octane. Curious of those who ve tested 87 vs 91 extensively to see if noticeable difference.
Also no ethanol vs ethanol… I ve noticed in a number of my vehicles over the years I typically see .4-.5 better mpg with non-ethanol.

Still waiting for Bronco order but trying to learn from others experiences!

You might be surprised at how much head winds, tail winds, air temperature and absolute humidity influence gas mileage. Cold dry air is very thick….

A heavy foot doesn’t help either.
