I'm getting an average of about 18 mpg. 65% highway, 35% city. Normal and eco with my 2 Door Badlands, 2.7, Non-Squatch. I've got less than 500 miles on her, so she's still breaking in. The mpg has been getting a little better. I'm hoping it'll get even better after a 1,000 miles. I'll change the oil with Amsoil signature series around 1,500 miles and see if there's any further improvement.

17.9. I have FLowmaster Outlaw catback exhaust too. Hard to stay off throttle, especially with the top off.

14 ha ha ha

I live in the hills and mostly take short trips of 5-15 minutes. As soon as I get to stretch the legs a bit that number is a lot more friendly.

6 days of owning and I'm at 18.3.

Better than the 15 mpg I was getting in my 5.0L F150 but even better than the +3 mpgs I'm getting is the constant smile on my face while I'm driving!!

755 days of waiting since Res and I'm glad I was able to hold out for her!

Just curious. Mine is rated for 17mph but I'm getting 19.5 on normal mode which surprised me. Wondering if I can break 20 with eco mode.

Here a couple plots and averages showing my calculated miles using the FillUp app

When I compile it out with the dash display I'm finding the dash is approximately 5% higher than calculated.

My 4dr 2.7L Badlands Sasquatch just started doing 21.5mpg average for the last 1,000 miles or so.

Wildtrak - 2.7 - SAS - 4dr. I’m averaging 15.3 mpg. It’s 75% city & 25% highway. I only have 780 miles on the odometer. I expect it to improve a bit over the next several thousand miles.

I generally agree with your post. However, you don't have to "power all of the front drive train". You just have to carry it around. The hubs automatically disengage in 2wd.
I see that others have discounted this already, but your post got me very curious. I have the transfer case with 2H, 4H, 4L and 4A (Badlands, SAS) You can shift (on-the-fly) between 2H and 4A without any defectible “spin up” of the front drive train. I’m thinking that would be pretty noticeable at nearly any speed. Also, I noticed on flip’s transfer case post that you can shift into 4H or 4L in neutral while the vehicle is still rolling. If the front drive train wasn’t in motion, I would grind or cause a huge CURCHUNK.

Since it was still bugging me, this morning I put my GoPro on the sway bar, pointed at one of the front axles and drove the car down my driveway and back in both 2H and 4A. My front axles turn in both modes.
