Wondering if anyone know what type of fuel the bronco takes and if it is a flex fuel. Would love it it can run on e-85. It one dollar less a gallon now.

No E-85. Unleaded 87 octane or better required (10% ethanol is OK).Wondering if anyone know what type of fuel the bronco takes and if it is a flex fuel. Would love it it can run on e-85. It one dollar less a gallon now.
As I recall, it added around 15HP.To have full horsepower 2.7(330) 2.3(310) 91+. For lower grade fuels the ECU will retard the timing to make it safe, but you’ll have less power.
Hmmm, in Fort Wayne 93 is $3.60. Not sure if it’ll be worth it for 15 extra ponies. As I recall, it added around 15HP.
Think about that when you buy that several hundred dollar 30hp tune that will most likely require premium to achieve the listed increase.
My wife had an escape at one point that ran on that E-85 stuff. I did a little experiment comparing MPG for the different fuels, and in the long run it was cheaper to run regular gas at a higher price per gallon than to run the e-85 stuff.Wondering if anyone know what type of fuel the bronco takes and if it is a flex fuel. LOL!YMMV
