My overpowered Ingersoll Rand air compressor with adjustable tip air nozzle. I have tried every shop vac on the planet and nothing compares to high pressure air.

Open all your doors and rear cargo and in under 5 minutes it’s showroom ready.

America’s Test Kitchen did this testing a while back. I personally bought this vacuum based on their recommendation for light house work and can confirm it is extremely powerful.

However, it shines best with physical debris (Cheerios, or rice for example). I did attempt to vacuum my stairs with this the other day and it simply does not have the power to rip small, imbedded debris from the carpet fibers. With that said, it can probably handle 90% of what you need it for, especially for the Bronco.

I can also say, I have found absolutely nothing that works well for dog hair. Especially that carpet mat in the cargo area. So I ended up just getting vinyl carseat covers from Mabett and getting rid of the carpet and going with a Armorlite washout floor - my favorite mods to the Bronco.

The Dyson brush roller adapter thing kinda sorta gets some of it., but it can't get all the way to the edges very well.

I do agree compressed air is great for dust/dirt - and now that I have washout floors, I just use a leaf blower on the inside and that gets out everything except mud stains (which scrub out easily if I take the time on the Armorlite) and... dog hair embedded in the cargo area mat.

do you let your dogs stay in the middle seat, or the cargo area?

I have 4 of them. They are not overly large dogs, but I lay the back seats down and, like liquid, they expand to fill the entire available area.

Even with the washout floors, I lay a blanket down over the back of the seats - I have two that like to get car sick, and getting that between the seats or between the door and the seat is horrible to clean out.

wow, i bet it could be a mess! i plan to have a backseat "hammock" for mine to stay in. that will both confine him a bit and HOPEFULLY keep hair from going everyday so quickly. although i know i won't get it all that's why i started this thread.

I've thought about those. Most I've seen attach to the head rest, and I'm afraid my untrained heathens will jump up on it and rip the headrests out.

My dogs are 100% spoiled and have no shame. I am an admittedly awful pet owner. I absolutely cannot train a basset hound to do anything other than the opposite of whatever it is that I want it to do.

I have 2 aussies - best dogs ever (as long as you have the room for them). 2 bassets - biggest teddy bears ever, but very much have a mind of their own.

The recent handheld I purchased, based on many very solid reviews, is extremely anemic. It can get the big light stuff like Cheerios (like the other person mentioned) but it just doesn't have enough oomph for all over the inside of the truck.

My purchase was the BLACK+DECKER dustbuster 20V Cordless Handheld Vacuum (BDH2000L).

Good thread to follow.
