-Managed to not get fired for looking at this site too often at work,
-actually did some work
-got both of my nanobot tracking injections (so yes I glow in dark and get 5g service)
-saved enough money to pay for 1/2 my bronco(so will be collecting parts from every PDI I do 🤣
-spent lots of time with my son who was stuck at home because of covid(for some reason he can't wait to go back to university:unsure:)
-learned my wife is just as excited as i am for the Bronco(a win i think🏁)

Created a Twitter account just to bug Mike Levine several times a day about Manual Sasquatch until they finally announced they would offer them.

Deleted my Twitter account.
This is beautiful. This is exactly why the internet was created.

So when people say they sold there vehicle for or about what they paid how many added in fees and taxes or are they just talking windows sticker but I have yet heard of anyone who lost money on a car they sold or pay more then MSRP for a new vehicle funny how that is .

Thanks for this thread. I needed something uplifting with all of the unfortunate news recently.
Sadly I don't think it will improve soon but it is slowly moving in a positive direction.

I have avoided catching covid.
Funded my daughters wedding coming in August.
Will retire my kids college debt by the end of August. (Could have easily paid for a nicely equipped Bronco)
Stayed married one more year, over 30 now.
Will start building a nice down payment for the Bronco
Enjoyed B6G and planning the aftermarket items I would like, still waiting to see Titan 7 wheel offering.

I'm late to this party.
  1. Converted a useless guest bedroom into a Lego room, with a murphy bed for guests.
  2. Converted a cluttered storage room into a model train room and built train tables.
  3. Got most of the kids' toys out of the living room. Well... for now.
  4. Hated on my people mover.
  5. Took kids to OBX and discovered Christmas Mouse. If you know, you know.
  6. Revised my build at least 5 times. WT->BL. Painted->MIC. Dual->Single top.AT tires->MT.Leather->MGV. My dealer is incredibly patient and accommodating.
  7. Taught kids basics of sailing a Hobie Cat 16.
  8. Went skiing, giving myself ample reasons to wish I already had my Bronco.
  9. Learned about Google survey capability and Sheet capability. In a matter of a few hours, made a tracker and a dashboard that would have taken days and cost thousands, once-upon-a-time. Technological advances are amazing.
  10. Cleaned out the garage in preparation for receiving the Bronco.

1. Got hitched
2. 95% rebuilt a 1981 Yamaha XS400 only to find out my block was cracked at the end :poop:
3. Paid off our existing car loans (Ford Focus RS, Ford Escape)
4. Got "hitched" again with friends and family present
5. Moved to Colorado (gained a 2 car garage!)
6. Spent 12000000 cumulative hours reading this forum looking for hope

Since July of 2020 I've worked for 4 different companies and gotten $25k in raises.

Contract work, what can I say.

I sold and bought another car in May.

I have celebrated two birthdays

I've gotten a puppy and he is now almost full grown.

I was the best man in a wedding and got the couple a present for their 1 year anniversary.

I've gone back and forth on walking away from Bronco and Ford altogether. At this point I'm in an long-term abusive retionship with a car company.

There's a story there. Does the MIL still speak to you? Without expletives?

Well it was "peak" COVID the first time around and Washington DC has a 25 person limit so we did a Catholic ceremony with just our immediate families. Already had all of the vendors paid for so we did a "wedding celebration" back in September so we didn't just waste all of that money. MIL was happy the whole time, luckily

I like many others here, did the things which people would do with their free time. It was very constructive and I am sure people would be proud of my progress. I will continue to do said things productive people do until I get my Bronco. I would go so far as to say I have been more productive waiting on my Bronco than I have in my entire life!

As we approach a one-year wait for this truly amazing vehicle, I think it's important to reflect on the wonderful things each of us undertook to better ourselves and the world. Ford Built a Bronco, what did each of us accomplish? The Bronco will create a whole new group of enthusiasts, clubs and aftermarket vendors. Exciting times.

Me, what did I do?

1. Completed my leadership and coaching certification
2. My wife and I purchased another lot of land to build spec home - shooting for net-zero!
3. Paid for my daughter's college and she made the Dean's list.
4. Didn't get covid.
5. Upgraded my "job" to include brokering and coaching.
6. Searched the interwebs each nite for news about the Bronco. Ya, every nite.
7. Lost 20lbs.
8. Drove my dealer and sales guy partially insane with questions.
9. Just sold my 2018 F150 for $11k lower than what I paid for 40 months ago.
10. Entertained buying a Wrangler 7 times, Ranger 6 times, Bronco Sport-0. OK, Bronco Sport-twice.

Nice! A little disappointed at your resale value on the F-150. Selling my 2017 Outback to a dealer for same as purchase price. Could probably get another $2k if I held out, but gotta go. Taking the Bronco to Oregon/California for T-Day to see Brotherfamily and Calicousins. Fish camping the whole way with an OffRoadeo to boot in Vegas with my Brother getting hitched there to boot.
