Off roading and Lincoln couldn’t be more complete opposites lol
You do know that upscale brand “off road capable” vehicles such as some LR models, the MB G wagon, and others produced by Lamborghini and Bentley and others couldn’t be more complete opposites either, right? The biggest problem is that such a hypothetical Lincoln would need either a V8 or hyper powerful electric or combo hybrid, etc.

Yeah, Lincoln is a hyper luxury brand or model. Does Cadillac have a similar offering? Stellantis is the Grand Waggoneer, which would make more sense but again isn't really a true off road vehicle, just more capable.

Wouldn’t it just be a ford flex with a Lincoln badge?

Those brands and Lincoln also have zero in common, just like Lincoln and the Bronco.

I don’t even know why people are debating this, it ain’t happening lol

Caddy has the V series Escalade, but it isn’t a four wheel drive that I know of. And certainly, it and the Stellantis flagship SUV are much bigger than the luxury off-road capable Jags, Lambos, Bentleys, G wagons, making a Lincoln built on the Bronco platform more akin to the luxury European models.

I'd settle for the middle ground and get a Bronco King Ranch trim if they offered one. That said, I love my thrasher spec big bend haha.

This was snagged 2 years ago. The Rockstars at Ford don't seem to have a development server. But rather they are just copy/pasting on the live server. The Bronco logo is evident along with the c/p from the Super Duty. Such a mashup on the live B&P just doesn't happen as a fluke by a rogue developer.
Ford Bronco What if... Bronco by Lincoln? King Ranch Bronco

For the sake of names, I recommend Hercules....the C-130 is probably one of the most versatile aircraft in the USAF inventory; able to reliably get into and out of more locations than any other aircraft...be it an ice runway Antarctica or dirt airstrip in the middle of a desert while under threat of enemy fire. It's a rugged do-it-all airframe that has left a legacy across the globe.

That said, Lincolns are the luxury line of fords...Broncos are not luxury. Broncos are adventure and dirt and mud and everything you keep luxury cars away from.
I agree, but look how well the G-Wagon sells. Could Ford selling a luxury Lincoln Bronco have a market? The G-Wagon certainly does. The market is limited, but I'm sure MB has a huge profit margin on each G it sells....

what if Ford wanted to take some buyers away from Land Rover and released a Lincoln Bronco?

What differences would it have?

I’ll start by sticking to Lincoln’s use of aviation names and call it the Lincoln A10.
I’ve owned a few Lincoln’s, my daughter still has the hand her down MKC. I like the idea of a fixed roof chassis with the rest of the chops to go against the new Toyota Land Cruiser. If the Toyota had a full panoramic roof that opened, the squeaky Bronco would go to pasture.

Personally, I’d prefer Ford actually build the Pick Up model that was promised years ago for MY25

It's a slow news day, gotta remember yesterday we were debating if a filtered VB pic was a new color for '25! 😉

Every time I hear something like this, my mind goes to "what they imagined" vs "what they delivered"--and the fact that GM created the Aztek in the end.

My dad has a Navigator. Prior to the release of the Bronco, my wife’s next ride was going to be an Aviator. You take the Bronco and dress it in a Lincoln interior and trim and I’m in. Call it whatever you want. Hers will never see more than wet grass. It also needs the PowerBoost engine set up like my F150 FX4. Would be a great option for that vehicle. Prices could start in the low 70’s and they’d sell.

Honestly, that's not bad! I like how you kept the Aviator/Explorer back side glass design but the Everest upright front. I think if you showed that to potential Defender/Discovery buyers they might be swayed.
