If your bronco is scheduled with a VIN, and dealer adds something like Sasquatch
The order takes it

then what? Will it work? Will it kick it out? Will it push you back?

Shouldn’t be possible if a VIN has been created, but stranger things have happened during this whole process.

So if the order takes it, it will eventually kick it out? As in the entire build or just the addition?
No, like you just can't. The changes won't be accepted. You're dealer likely won't even try to input them. I've heard rumor you can change things like color (maybe), but anything parts based is a no.

The vin has codes for the car's options, so to change most features is to change the VIN. I, for example, forgot the roof rack. So I just bought aftermarket from PakRax.

As others said, generally once you have a VIN you're locked in.

Depending how close you are to the build date you can sometimes add minor options. Like if you didn't order the door bags, you probably can add them. And depending how close to the build date you are you can sometimes modify your color.

But no major changes, no switching from 2-door to 4-door, no switching engines, nothing like that. Ford's ordering system won't even let you make those modifications.

If you don't already have the advanced transfer case on the order that changes the VIN to add, and that's a key component of the Sasquatch package, plus with all of the extra constrained parts surrounding that package it doesn't seem probable to be able to add it after the fact once you have a VIN, as most major changes are locked out.

The Badlands will already have the advanced transfer case (E5C for a 2 door vs E5A for non advanced), but still not sure any substantial changes can be made without basically unscheduling or delaying the order.
