I got 1.85% for 60 months 3 weeks ago. Dealer acquired my financing. I was pleased to say the least.

2.6X% with USAA for 60mo. Thankful I was able to use USAA since I couldnt find anyone else who would match that rate.

1.99% through Peach State Federal Credit Union for me. Up to 60 months which we took because I can make more than 2% with my money somewhere else 😉. Georgia folks may want to see if they can become members. Great rates!

2.19% from NFCU back in May. I walked into the dealer with the NFCU check and a personal check for the down payment. Done.

1.8 at 48

the monthly payments were the same for 1.9 at 60 months.

Y’all watch out for those longer payments pulling more money from you.

You may want to talk to your financial advisor and /or CPA... 6 years at a onerous interest rate is a very very bad idea.

When I was finalizing everything on my purchase last month the first thing my dealer told me was "do not go through Ford as their rates are not competitive at all". Out of curiosity I got pre-approved at my credit union and Ford and it was 2.25% vs 5.4% with great credit.

I'm sure other people have mentioned this, but I highly recommend both going with a credit union and trying to get that locked in ASAP before the feds raise the rate this month if possible.

That’s great to hear glad you got a good deal, I’ll do the same then when my bronco comes thank you for sharing
Even if you drive away using Ford credit, you can go the same day to your credit union, start a loan there, and have them buy out the Ford Credit loan before your first payment is due. As long as there are no penalties for paying off the dealer loan early.

I've bought many new cars over the last 25+ years and I have never found the dealership financing to really be higher than anyone else. I always have paperwork from my bank to purchase outright, and once I show it to the finance guy, they either meet or beat it. Only once or twice have they not been able to meet it.

Maybe it's luck or credit score or who knows, but if you walk in with paperwork showing your interest rate, they will do everything they can to get your business. I went to my Ford dealer with a preapproved 1.9% and the Ford dealer beat it. Took less than 5 minutes of my time to complete the loan there. Most dealers know where the best financing is and can get it if they need to to get your business. Walking in unprepared and clueless is most likely where most high interest rates come from.

May 13th - 3.19% @ 72MONTHS from the dealerships credit union (https://www.members1st.org/ask-us/rate-center/auto) I had walked in with a 3.29% rate from my credit union, seems the dealerships can negotiate rates at will , its all about the kick backs!!

I'm picking my Bronco up on Tuesday.

As long as you have a 700 credit score you should not be over 5%
