Can somebody with a Black Diamond please tell me what the recommended tire pressure is as shown on the door frame placard? Ideally from a 2 door model, but I will take a 4 door since that is probably a lot easier to find out there.

Reason I am asking: I installed on my Base the same tires (General Grabber ATx) that come stock on the BD and wonder what Ford is recommending they be inflated to.

Thanks!

The spec should be in your owners manual.

I think the owners manual says 71.2607 inches of Mercury. The fourth decimal is incredibly important you’ll need a good tire gauge.

Let's see a pic of that Base...I think the 265 75 x 16 tire should be about perfect, width, height, on and off road performance.

It is not, I checked. Possibly because the recommended PSI varies by trim.

I put KO2s on my black diamond 4 door, size 285 on the stock 17" rims. I don't haul anything other than small hand tools during the week. Dealer put them at 34 when they swapped them for me. Any suggestions on psi??

Mine had 42 from the dealer, so a tad higher than door. Temps have dropped, still about 40, but I'll aim to hold that for the winter....

I think anything in the 35ish range is about right. A little lower might give you a softer ride, a little higher will probably give you slightly better MPG.
