What is the verdict on being able to remove the second row seats in a 2 dr?

For what it's worth, there's a combination of studs and bolt holes... here's some good pics of both the 2 and 4 doors.

(If I'm interpreting the series of pictures correctly, these are all the studs... everything is is bolts.)

One 2x4 of wood and those studs would be almost non-existing. Countersink the holes drilled for the studs, and reuse the nuts to secure the wood to the floor.

It gives the passengers a place to sit even when the seats are out. :oops:
Henry Ford reduced the rear seats in the model T because he didn’t want any naughty behavior going on back there.

Ope. I should've searched a little more before posting these pics in another thread. I'll be curious to see more images regarding these seat studs, particularly in the 2-door.

If there are welded in studs that attach the seats, that’s not a problem. That’s actually a good way to mount your seat delete.
