What is this bump under the passenger seat?

Somebody mentioned mounting a subwoofer under the passenger seat so I glanced under there and this bump takes up a good bit of the space. It feels like nothing is under there when I push on it. Is it pretend rear seat heat vents?

Keep in mind mine is a 2-door so I don't think it gets rear vents.

The 2-dr is not supposed to get rear vents. Maybe Ford's idea is to just carpet over them so no one would notice?

I’m curious also cause I’m going to put one of those kickers under there if I can so please somebody pull the carpet up before I buy something stupid!!!
