Spied it on the 360° interior. Be a nice spot for for KC Daylighters but I doubt that's what it's for.

I would not be shocked if there is some gusset/angle reinforcement at that corner as well to help tie the single open halo as there is no cross bar. If it helps rigidity while maximizing the clamping force/clamping consistency on the top and that is as small as it could be to achieve both for $$ spent I would say yes.

You could be right for all I know. That's why I posed the question. Just seemed out of place to me. Doesn't go all the way into the corner so I don't see it being a gusset. But I can see it being a lock or locator for the roof panels.

I noticed this “U” on an earlier top off video as well. Just as large in real life.

I just noticed - Ford touts the ability to store the doors with the rig. Yet, they opt to lean them against the semi-trailer and lay the other on the ground.
