I know there are multiple threads but I seem to not be able to full understand it since I’m new to vehicles and suspensions.
I have a 2022 2.7 Badlands with Sasquatch. What do I need to do to be able to add 37”s to reduce the risk of breaking anything.

I “overland” so light rock crawling and off-roading to get to certain view points and camp areas. Nothing to extreme but it’s not all pure fire roads either

It’s been discussed before, and a quick search wouldn’t hurt but basically:

1. depends on the tires (they’re not all 37” exactly) and wheels (offset changes contact points)
2. Remove crash bars / crash bar delete
3. Body lift
4. Trim oem rock rails
5. Suspension lift at least 2”

And any combination of those. Might be missing some too

This is accurate

Very much depends on what your definition of "fit" is and how much rub, if any, is allowed.

People will say they don't rub, but what does that mean? At 100% full stuff with sway bar disconnected? At ride height?

To me me "fit" means full stuff, full turn, and sway bar disconnected.

You can run k02s with very very very minimal rubbing on stock SAS everything.

Once you lift, change offset etc different contact point come into play.

Anything more then 0 off set will have different contact points then stock wheels.

Imo jks kit is needed for any 37 to clear. Start with that and your choice of 37/wheel choice. Adjust as needed.

It's actually quite crazy the Bruce can fit 37s at full stuff with minimal work to be honest.

What exactly does the JKS kit entail? Sorry my knowledge is extremely non existent and I’m learning as I go.

go to 2:23 for the part you’ll be concerned with if you are new to wrenching (cutting) on your ride

Cutting the crash bars aren’t an issue to me but if I have fog lights in those wings will that be a problem?

Wings aren’t part of the crash bars and isn’t necessary, so you’ll be fine there. But you’ll want to remove the bumper to get easier access for cutting those crashbars off and getting to the bolts that need spacers added to them.

we cut the wings off entirely to get additional clearance up front. (Then added that stupid winch mount that sticks out way further than expected)

Just a heads up, removing the bumper is not necessary, at least in my case....

I have a fab fours stubby and was about to remove the crash bars with our removing the bumper.

Real question. You are overlanding. Why put on tires that are dramatically going to decrease your MPG's and cost you reliability? Your vehicle as it is, is more than enough for overlanding. It can do some pretty tough terrain. Plus it will be more reliable stock. Just curious if your truly overlanding.

I did the following:

JKS Max tire Kit
Stage 7 ICON Suspension
KING 2.5 adjustable Coilovers
17x9.5 -18 Black Rhino Arsenal
37x13.5 Mickey Thompson Baja boss tires

Expensive but zero issues and rides better than stock Sasquatch.
