It's so lame. Creating the graphic to make their point makes it even more lame.Just don’t reply if you don’t want to share a quick answer. Being the forum police in lame.
The only actual measurement of axle centerline to fender, which is the only way to compare suspension height, was the same on the BL and a squatch, so, until we get more real measurements, those estimates of yours don’t mean much.BB -->BL is 1"
BB -->Sas is 2.4"
Estimates
I am not sure if a added "lift" is the best way to describe the differences any more. Actuall body height is only moving 0.3" and .85" between models.
Oh, man! It would have been faster to answer than creating this image
Thanks! She's got a few miles on her at this point so the new Bronco seemed like an excellent daily driver replacement. I'll never part with the G though.Nice G Wagen!
And, back at you with respect to the G. Looks like you put yours to proper use too.Nice G Wagen!

I'm a cop. I wouldn't say that.Thats what a cop would say
Being a police officer, do you find it offensive when the media says "a cop <this>" or "a cop <that>"? I'm offended, seems "police officer" would be more polite.I'm a cop. I wouldn't say that.
I don't mean to be a dick or anything... Wait... actually I don't care... but helpful?The quickest and most reliable answer will be found by searching the forums. No policing here, just pointing out the most helpful source of information.
I don't really find it offensive, but I do think it shows a lack of professionalism on the media's part.Being a police officer, do you find it offensive when the media says "a cop <this>" or "a cop <that>"? I'm offended, seems "police officer" would be more polite.
The G is pretty much my dream vehicle.Thanks! She's got a few miles on her at this point so the new Bronco seemed like an excellent daily driver replacement. I'll never part with the G though.
I am also a police officer and I don't necessarily find it offensive. I think the term is used when the accompanying comment is generally not a compliment. Tends to make the word negative. When someone uses police officer it is usually followed by something more positive.Being a police officer, do you find it offensive when the media says "a cop <this>" or "a cop <that>"? I've had 3 MB's. One with the NA 4.7L V8 and 2 AMG's with the 4.0L bi-turbo. They're pretty f'ing expensive to maintain, especially the 4.0's.The G is pretty much my dream vehicle.
hard tho when $40k gets you 100k+ miles..
how has it been?
theyve been made forever so are they pretty bulletproof?
not just as expensive to maintain as you would expect a Benz to be?
