What sort of weird things are you cross shopping the bronco with?

I want a Bronco base 4dr sasquatch with the 2.7. I am a July 14 reservation (day 2). The whole allocation talk has me concerned. I would hate to be number 41 with a dealer with an allocation of 40. I need a vehicle sooner rather than later. If delays keep coming, I have been looking at JL Rubicons and will probably have to go that route. A distant third would be the tacoma TRD offroad, but I really want the topless, doorless thing to happen.

Just bought my 2016 Honda Accord from my company. Will keep it for a year.

Then I will either order the Bronco or a 21 F-150. May wait to see what the 2022 ranger will look like. It is being redesigned correct?

I was cross shopping with a Mach-E, but then found out that the Bronco came in manual.

I didn't think I could make the switch to Automatic, and really didn't need an electric car because I don't drive all that much. So I canceled my reservation for the Mach-E and put a deposit for the Bronco.

There's no other vehicle I want right now that would fit my needs. I'm digging the newly designed Subaru BRZ; it looks like a Porsche, but its too small and my hot hatch, small sports car, convertible days are over... at least until I have some expendable cash and decide to have another "fun"/weekend car. Which the Bronco will be to a certain extent anyway.

Thinking about a MachE. Need to replace the alt on my 06 Mustang so further delays are not helping me. Since I reserved the Bronco I have put new tires and repaired the AC on it and the next thing to go on it will be front brakes (did the rears last year) then something else will go. Annoying inconvenience.

I was just using that justification to still buy a gas engine; don't drive a lot, gas won't be too bad. I can't charge at work.

My wife has a WAY longer commute and can charge at work so most likely we'll get her an electric car.

No. It will be the second I have put on. Takes about 45 minutes spent mostly looking for the correct socket. But wrenching cars is not my desired hobby.

I'm set on the 2 door bronco. The wife's Jeep lease runs out and she was considering a four door bronco. But 2 weeks ago she went and looked at this.
