If money is no object then yeah Rock Slide Engineering. I have Shrockworks on mine and it works well as a step and slider. I'm also in CO.

Money isn’t an object, just don’t need powered steps.

Got a Magnum on backorder with Archetype Racing. Have the OEM Rock Rails. Easy to take off if I wanted to and looks really good. I like the new IAG EZ steps for the full length 4 door as well. Think the Rockslide are very very cool but after someone pointed out the gap in the front, I couldn't unsee it.

The AR | STIRRUPS are a solid choice. You retain your OEM rock slider, you get rugged good looks, and the function of a billet aluminum step. If the day's trails call for rocks, they are removed in minutes.

Shrockworks
DV8 (no top plate plate)
GOAT fab (no top plate)

my main desires from slider steps were something that can take the weight of the vehicle and something functional as a step.

Shrockworks were a top contender for me. I ordered LoD signatures (they were less expensive the day they were released). If I was ordering today, I’d probably pick the shrockworks over the LoD’s because of weight and installation looks perhaps a little easier (only on hole to drill).

The dv8 and goat fab would both be on my list due to ease of install vs. shrockworks and LoD’s, but I decided I really want a top plate and LoD beat GOAT to market with more communication (“soon” wasn’t cutting it for me from GOAT given they were saying that since November)

How far do the Shrockworks stick from the Bronco? I want something that will give also give protection from door dings. I don't mind trail damage from having fun, but I detest careless people parking next to me and denting my BD - which happened on day 1. Thank you!

My wife is vertically challenged. I've have step sliders on a bunch of jeeps. I found the aren't good steps. Too high. Or not good sliders. Too low. On my bronco I put on RSE perfect. Functional step and slider

do the bolts go into the existing holes in the frame or do you need to drill new ones?

nm... i searched the forum and saw that you have to drill 1 hole.

These step sliders look like they might fit the bill and the step part is easily removed for trail use. These BRaptor sliders will likely be available in the near future.

Im looking at the srq fab sliders. Frame mounted is the only way to go
Those are real nice. I'll either get something like those or fab my own. I'll have to pack away the factory BRaptor sliders in case I ever sell. ;)
