It was probably a Ford donated pre-production non salable unit that had to be crushed and not released for sale at any rate so it's not like it took away a 2 door from a customer who ordered one.

Any of these that they do this to are preproduction units. When I was doing private fire investigation for insurance companies Ford sent some preproduction Mustangs for us to burn at arson school. We burned them up in different ways for the class then they were sent to the crusher.
