Besides the 35" size - 315/70R17 Goodyear Territory M/T, the 33" - 285/70R17 Goodyear Territory M/T is also an option on the non-Sasquatch Badlands, as seen in the below pdf spec sheet. As @Frank N pointed out these look more like an R/T tire. So what is an R/T tire, I went to google to find out:

R/T Tires: New Category, Not Marketing Hype
Top 5 Best Hybrid Truck Tires For 2020

As we get closer to the ordering time in December we should see some hands-on Bronco reviews, it will be interesting to see what is said about the new design Goodyear Territory M/T.

I may even consider ordering the available 33" - 285/70R17 size for my non-Sasquatch Badlands, anyone else?

That will be my choice. Keeps the smaller fender flares and less road noise on long trips.

Another thing to keep in mind when changing tire sizes is the gear ratio, stay with stock or upgrade will be a required decision.

Some one please help me understand the factors involved and potential impact when changing a tire size from stock to something else larger or smaller.

In my case am thinking that I'd like to get to a 33" tire and not sure whether it will be with an increase in size from the BlackDiamond [Automatic] 32" or as a decrease in size from a 35" Sasquatched BlackDiamond [Automatic].

I get it that the speedo will be off. And am familiar with the road handling advantages of lighter wheel/tire (unsprung weight) combinations.

But am concerned about what the impact might be for on-road acceleration, fuel mileage, or other bad side effects.

In my case the transmission would be automatic.

What should I expect or what do I need to evaluate?

I hope this data is current and accurate:

32" P255/75R17 32.1 x 10 46lbs
32" LT265/70R17 31.6 x 10.4 53lbs
33" LT285/70R17 32.7 x 11.2 58lb
35" LT315/70R17 34.4 x 12.4 65lb

One thing is braking is way worse with larger tires due to increased unsprung weight i wonder if the brake caliper part # is the same for a base stock tire vs sasquatch?

Yep they are for mud and sand and rock and anything else. They are super thick also and have stiff enough sidewalls and beads that you can run under 10 psi without worrying about beadlocks. They best ones are bias but run just fine on the road at anything under 90 mph. They have unparalleled puncture resistance and can have around an inch or more of slices or tread damage. They do have radial options for the TSL and The Irock. The also have about 4 different mud terrain styles but those arent really any better than all the other MTs out there.

Swampers are actually fairly chill to drive, as long as you arent one of those wind noise sensitive types. Its just a mud tire hum. Only boggers are rough at low speeds. Really there is only 2 or 3 others(pitbull, maxxis, etc.)
out there if you are serious about offroading.

Sticking with the 33" BFG KO2 tires that come with the Badlands.
Me too. I figure I’ll switch to Duratracs the second set if the Territories get bad reviews and I’ll have to stay out of the mud in the meantime. Besides I know replacing 33” KO2s with 33” Territories should be free, unless the Territories are going to cost $100 more per tire aftermarket. (In which case they’d better be damned impressive tires or Duratracs.)

Likely sticking with it till it needs new tires than ill go with something a little more aggressive. I like the BFG MT and the BFG KO2 AT. When i go with new tires though ill be lifting it a bit and going to a 37X12.5X17

My go to tire is the Cooper Discover STT Pro, they were a game changer for me. I work at a place where you find a lot of screws and nails in the lot and these tires can take it. Also my vehicle is used 50% off road and there was a noticeable improvement in performance when I switched. I'm on my second set now and heavily modified my Jeep ZJ. The two biggest improvements I made that returned the investment with performance are: 1.) Tires 2.) Lockers.

I doubt you'll be able to run 15" rims. The brakes will probably require a larger size (17" or greater). Without having a Bronco to look at, we don't know for sure but I haven't had a vehicle in the last 20 years that could take 15" rim. All of them have been 4x4 trucks or SUVs.
