Okay so if I go with that gray top and it just does not do it for me what are my options...
Professionally Paint it
LineX
Flex paint white or black
Have it wrapped
Besides buying another top any other options??
Sell it to me half price.

I'm serious - I would do it if you want!

Depends on how it looks with A51. I would consider wrapping mine in black carbon-fiber looking wrap.

Plasti-dip it. Cheap and easy and you can peel it off and change the color as many times as you want

Good luck wrapping it. I don’t think you’ll get good adhesion to the textured gray plastic, have you seen pictures of the MIC hard top up close?
Yea I wondered about that. Probably not a smooth surface huh? Maybe doesn't look so bad with A51, we'll see. Paint it is another option. Surely not spending $1900 on a top.

Compared to the factory painted tops, I hear the MIC tops use a different, softer plastic that doesn't take paint well. That's in addition to the pebbly texture of the MIC tops. The way I see it, I can't count on painting the MIC tops.

Plastidip color it with about a half dozen cans for around $50 bucks!
Not gonna lie, that was my first thought too if there’s no factory white top option at a reasonable price.

I’ve only ever derped little things like emblems though. I know bigger stuff can be done, but it’s outside my experience.

It's not as easy as it looks for big things. I've watched many YouTube videos on this, mostly for wheels. If you miss any surface contamination, it won't adhere in that area. Then you need to peel it off and clean some more and start again. You also need to be careful not to scratch it. Once that happens, it will continue to peel off at the damaged areas.

AS someone who is getting the 4door black diamond in carbonized gray, I really hope they have a black modular dual hard top.

I'll probably just use the mic grey until they come out with mic white and then buy that. From what I've seen, painting mic tops doesn't usually turn out well at all, especially after a couple years. It's usually a last resort for a beat top.
Always best to get mic top from factory in color they offer.
Exactly. There is a reason it’s Molded In Color to begin with.

This would be a terrible idea lol. CF is very hard to take care of and and the textured stuff gets stuff stuck in it. I wanted this on my hood and every installer I’ve ever talked to said do not use it.

If Ford offers a white top, I'll buy that. If they stick with gray, I'll have it painted.
