I'm an old guy and don't watch a lot of current TV shows. I do watch almost every new movie that comes out though, for good or bad.

I was trying to explain to a young (very young) coworker the other day about how TV in my day was different. It was all about vehicles and girls in bikinis. Any good show from the 80s had built trucks or cars and babes. To this day my ultimate truck is the blue SWB stepside Chevy from CHiPs. I couldn't tell you how how many times I got my truck airborne from watching The Fallguy, but I had to put a new front end on it twice the summer I turned 16. I grew up driving dirt roads like The Dukes and knew how to drift before I knew what drifting was.

It's pretty funny to go back and watch some of those shows from the 80s and see where our interests were back then.

• The Handmaid's Tale (wife actually got me hooked on that one LOL)
