Please don't tell me that you drive on lava rocks. I tried that once on the big island on the back side of Volcanos National Park and realized that was pretty dangerous!

Also, is that night-time shot before sunrise or after sunset?
What made it so dangerous to drive across lava for you? I’m talking about transversing an old lava flow to get to the ocean or a secluded beach or fishing spot, not where there is a steep incline Or it’s broken up into huge jagged shards. And that pic is after sunset.

I’ll never get buying an expensive inefficient uncomfortable vehicle purely for looks....

this goes for corvettes too..etc
Same. Kinda shocked that number is currently in double digits on this poll.

It was active flowing just 30 feet under. Glad I am here to tell the tale!

Yeah I kind of figured you were gonna say that lol. I will be mostly driving across vast old lava fields like a lot of tourist do to get to the secluded beaches.

I just like one baddass Maui Cruzer, shootz!?

Mostly it will be the truck we take when we arent just hauling stuff in and out of town. Beach days, mountain days, Hana days, Jaws days, 808 all days!
Road to Hana = ?. I rode in the back of a tour van and felt like shit.
The big crater (haliakala ?)was badass though.

When you dream about your Bronco at night, what are you doing with it? ...
I'm confused by your first poll option ... "off-road beast ... for the ... road"

How is it in any way an "off roading" vehicle of it is meant for roads?

Hana is more of a 2 day top down, stop often kind of trip. Seems crazy considering its only about 30 miles:ROFLMAO:

We rented a Jeep, did the Road to Hana with the top down, we then proceeded beyond where the road ends and advised by the rental company to turn around. Not taking that advice was a highlight of our trip to Hawaii. So beautiful. Those are the types of memories i want to make with my family in my new Bronco.

Are those Mickey Thompsons? I ran a pair on my old 78 Bronco in 1996 through 2001 and I'm currently running the Baja 33'' ATZ-P3's on my F150. I have never been more happy with a tire. Despite my best efforts I've never even had a flat tire. I'm considering swapping out the Goodyears on the Bronco with them.

Also, how is Imogene pass? My daughter is 7 and I want to plan a camping trip from Vegas with her. Imogene and Black Bear? pass are two I was considering. We will probably be wheeling alone so I'd like a trail somewhat well travelled that I can walk to get help if things really go south, and I need a trail that is challenging enough that a 7 year old thinks it is exciting without it being Hell's Gate in Moab. Basically something I can idle along without a care in the world while my daughter thinks we are really wheeling and is impressed by her dad's driving.
