Thank you for the reply! Guess I will have to get the dealership desk guy involved.
Those drawings on the website are terrible. Doesn't really pinpoint what i'm looking for.
I am guessing they are common and I can probably find them online for cheaper.
I will quit my job and be a full time parts guy if ford lets me take pictures
of the actual items and list them on their catalog sites to help others find
the parts they need. lol
For those who want to know what I'm searching for, the clips look similar to these.
Found them on Amazon. Sucks that dealers here are closed on Sundays. They are a push on trim clip with little spikes on each side
that grab onto the plastic.
I ordered w714972 s300 from my dealer, we shall see tomorrow if they are the correct clips.
If not, I'm taking a screw driver to them. It was weird that Tim Bartz posted a video about the same thing as I was searching this out. The screw driver was his recommendation. Asked in the comments.
The clips were on back order and I had everything else. I ended up canceling my back order. I just reused the clips from the original grill. Took a pair of pliers and squeezed them off and yanked them out. They did not have a time frame for delivery. Plus they were stupid expensive. I recommend doing the same. But I can find the part number again if you like?
W713407-S439. I believe this is the part number your looking for. Btw now that I remember ford had the price jacked up and has since corrected it. So they were cheaper then originally listed. I had them on order through Sam Galloway ford.
