no idea yet, eventually maybe some side lights and rear lights. Don't want extra wind noise, so a lightbar is not an option. I don't think I'll hardwire/mount a compressor either, don't want to carry all that stuff around every day, same with winch, most likely will go hitch mounted (with added front receiver of course).
Maybe some 'ambient' light for when at camp? I'm happy to have the switches, maybe I'll eventually fill them up. But I don't want to add things just because they look cool, if I really won't ever use them. If the lights that come with it aren't sufficient, I'll add more, but I can't imagine that being the case.
Fog lights (corners of mod bumper)
Cowl lights (by mirrors)
Reverse lights (on spare rack)
I’m torn on a roof light bar over the windshield… it looks damn cool in photos I’ve seen, but I’m not sure how useful it would be… and the glare on the glass could be brutal. A smaller light bar on the bumper might be more useful, but between the fog lights and headlights, I’m not sure I need more light out front.
I have been thinking about it. I really like the Baja Designs Fog/Running lights for the MOD bumper. That would probably be 2 switches. 1 for SAE fogs and 1 for driving/cornering lights.
I like the idea of a compressor, but I imagine that would be hard wired with a dedicated on/off switch and relay under the hood. Hood would have to be open to use it anyway to fill tires or pond floats. If a winch option becomes available for the adaptive cruise control/360 camera, that would most likely use one of the switches.
It is a shame that we can't determine the amperage draw of each switch by deciding which circuit to wire it to. As the lights don't pull many amps, they are likely to go on switches 5 and 6, but I would prefer them on 1 and 2. Maybe as we get more info or can get into the "fuse box" we can play around with it.
