I picked up a 22 Bronco Black Diamond a few months back and have done nothing to it other than add 2" leveling kit and 35s. I haven't had any issues with the truck until a few days ago where I noticed a vibration/humming coming from my front driver side tire/hub. It seems to happen from 30-60MPH randomly and goes away all together when in 4H but when I'm in 2H it's right back. The noise and vibration stays if I let off the gas as I slow down. I'm assuming Ford is still using the terrible IWE design on the Bronco and that is the culprit. Unfortunately I had a 2020 F-150 where both Driver side and Passenger side IWEs failed. The symptoms are very similar to that. I brought it to my local Ford Service center and the tech said my tires are just loud and they don't see any issue but it's definitely a problem. One thing I had done with my F-150 was disconnect the power for the solenoid for IWE to keep the front locked and the issue went away and I've seen guys plug the vacuum lines on F-150s to stop this instead of replacing the IWE. I've also looked at the IWE delete kits. Has anyone experienced these issues with theirs? If this is root then its a real shame Ford hasn't done anything to correct this.

First time hearing of this issue, hope you find a workable fix, and it isn’t too widespread. Keeping my eye here to see how it unfolds.

The IWE should disengage the hub when decelerating as that's when you have the most vacuum. I always had to let off the accelerator to get the noise to quit. Then get back in it until the vacuum weakened enough to partially engage. Repeat........

I have this also, no idea what it is. To be honest I kind of just stopped worrying about it. When It breaks something I’ll figure it out then haha

yeah except the control arms. Zone lift with BDS arms. The kit that maxlider sells
I came to the conclusion it needs a diff drop. Waiting for a company to make one that works.

From what I've read Broncos with adv 4x4 and those with 4.27 axles do not have axle disconnect. Others have FAD but not IWE
