We made the Montana Mountain loop outside Phoenix a couple years ago in the spring. There were a ton of creek crossings and amazing views. I’d like to do that again!

What's that rated? Time on target? Do I need snacks if I go?

ALWAYS bring snacks. Mostly cookies. If you live in the valley, plan on the day. The loop is mostly a dirt road with some sections of rock. Easy stuff for my huge 33’s and no lift 😆. Time off pavement is about 4 ish hours if memory serves. We went a few days after a storm and found snow on top, but it was still passable.

2025 major plan?
Overview as far as the amount of destinations would allow.
More detail on the "in between", and imagine that line ending in the BL of SD going east to Chicago and back down home to NC.
Just in CA alone there are a lot of places between Stovepipe Wells and eventually Mt. Shasta (Alabama hills, Mazourka peak, Yosemite, Monterey, SF).

When you get to South Dakota in the Badlands look us up. Great group that likes to wheel in the Black Hills that would show you around. Look up Black Hills Bronco Owners on FB. we have a couple gathering though out the year also. Also if any work would need to be done Tiffany and Dave have a shop they open up to Bronco owners to get fixed up.

Looking forward to A couple of Black Hills Bronco owner gatherings in the hills, Bronco Safari in Vernal UT, Super Cel in Buena Vista CO and a planned Rim rocker overloading trip with members from BHBO and CBO.

You should take HWY-44 from Hanging Rock State Park so that you can go through Disney, OK. for some rock climbing fun. I'll provide the beer and Fireball :like: 🍻

That leg from home to Amarillo is the "hard press" section. Stops for fuel and bathroom breaks only straight through. Allows slower meander time between stops afterwards. Otherwise, yeah, I'd love to.
I have an old friend on here I'd like to stop in and grab a bite with near Fayetteville, AR. But again, time doesn't allow much deviation on that push for that first 20 hours' straight jaunt.
I really wanted time to head back down to BB and see Roswell OTW out as well.
Guess that will be another trip for another year.
Maybe we can link up and do an adventure one of these times.
We plan on making several more trips out in the coming (many) years:
-WYBDR in its entirety
-Joshua Tree area and Baja peninsula
-IDBDR
-Whitehorse ,YT

Ontario, Oregon? I think you meant to go much further North instead 😁
