Good day everyone. I am looking to pickup a set of Method MR305 (18 x 9 ET -12) and Toyo Open Country R/T 37 / 12.5 / 18 on my 2023 Wildtrak (which is completely stock).

I am trying to figure out the following:

1. The wheel and tire setup would push out about 1.75" from stock. How would that look and would I have problems with rock slinging?
2. Does anyone have any input on this tire. How good is it for street/highway driving? Road noise compared to OEM?

Anything else I should be aware of eith this setup like, would I require a lift from stock to clear the setup?

What is your use case? 37's will fit but that much offset most likely going to rub when flexing.

Looks is subjective...at -12mm offset you will be well beyond the squatch flares so yes, things will be flinging.

The Toyos are a good all around tire IMO.

It will rub at full lock going forward and while reversing unless you chop the crash bars out or throw on min 3 inch lift. Here’s mine on 37s on stock sas suspension and with a 8.5 wheel and 0 offset

This is great feedback everyone and is what I assumed. My use case is primarily street/highway driving with the occasional trail runs (but nothing major).

I will look for wheels with a 0 offset or lower to not affect deivability, which is my primary concern.

You didn’t have to cut the crash bars correct?

I haven’t yet. Since those pictures I threw fox coilovers on it and have 0 rubbing issues on road. Off road is a different story.

Here's a picture I grabbed off here of someone with 18x9 -12 offset. They do stick out a bit past the Sas flares. I think the +6 to offset works best for 9" wide wheels.
