I hear a lot of people say they get rock chips from the Sasquatch package or running bigger tires. Where did these rock chips tend to happen and how far up do they tend to happen?

I was seeing if you did PPF up to this body line do you think it would take care of all the rock chips?

Just getting rid of the Goodyears will greatly reduce rock chipsā€¦..

Getting rid of the goodyears is a $5500 less option than PPF. Its the tire not the vehicle. ppf up to mid line does not look good in person. You will always notice it yourself. Plus the chips will go right to top of door

Personally I rather get rid of the problemā€¦but that is just my opinion.
The only way to truly get rid of the problem is run highway tires. Each tire just picks the rock that suit it. Heck even my Silverado and Lexus grab rocks here and there. I pick um when I wash the cars. We just do too much mixed driving to eliminate the problem. If you drive an aggressive tread, it will grab rocks if they are on your route.

Nothing is anywhere near as bad as the Goodyears. ā€¦yes most mud tires will sling an occasional rock but nothing anywhere close to the GYs.

Rekgen XL flaps DO solve the problem. I got the fronts only, as I actually like the fact that the Goodyears throw rocks on tailgaters.

I bought my Bronco to do remote camping. Yup, itā€™s going to get rock chips. Iā€™m not planning on getting mud flaps since I think they will end up being an issue or getting ripped off. Already got brush scratches but surprisingly, the Cactus Gray does not seem to show them. I do have some moderate dings on the front of my rear fender flairs.

Itā€™s a Bronco!

Unless you are rock crawling you arenā€™t gonna rip a mud flap. Not a chance.

Thinking of ordering RokBlokz for my OBX Sasquatch, destined for late winter arrival. I like the option to easily remove them if needed.
