It is going to be interesting to watch how the process unfolds, I got my confirmation for my FE a couple hours after launch, and many many presses of the F5 key.

The batch building makes the most sense, and geographical groupings.

The big question is; will they build my First Edition In the first week. ?

You're off base. There will be a time period to complete your order, and for it to go to the dealer and to Ford....but all that are completed go into the Factory and they build (roughly) in order of reservation time. There is no race to complete the order, just do it before the deadline.
From the reservation confirmation.
Congratulations on Your Reservation for a New Ford Bronco.

Since Ford said they will honor reservations in the order they were received, let's see if we can find who the first in line is.

Here are the rules you can only comment if you tie or beat the previous post.

I'll start. I got my confirmation email on the 13th at 8:32 PM (So 32 minutes after launch.)
Given the delays in email delivery, especially after their site crashed, and different date/time zones...the email delivery time stamp is irrelevant. It was July 14th at 4:30am my time when reservations opened.

Could they make a run of editions of several different colors then just option them out later after orders are received ?

The site crashed on me so I didn't get my order in until 4.43am on the 14th.

I reserved my FE the night of launch around 10:30. My wife reserved her FE around 10:50. Our reserve numbers are 483 apart if that means anything. I messed up, went on the site at 8:00 and spent to much time trying to figure out model differences. Then caught in the crash and burn mess for about a hour and half trying to order. I believe FE's were sold out around 11:30, when I went back to site to surf it showed Reservation Full.

I was about 8 hours after they went live so im sure im down the line a bit but still ahead of many. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Is it in order by model (like one week it’s Badlands in reservation order)? What does reserving 24 hours later even mean in the grand scheme? A month longer to wait? What about if you reserved fifteen days later? Will Ford even keep their word and just build the reservations? I think some retail stock will be mixed in.

So hard to know, but like people have said. A decent number of reservations ahead of you will not turn into orders. The multiples, the people who changed their mind because of $$$ or time. The people who never even intended to buy. We will all move up in line. We just have to see if it matters.

July 13th 10:49 EST. Email received immediately.

two strange things (the second one everyone may want to check)

1. It says order placed July 14th even though I received the email on the 13th

2. The initial email from ford says the WRONG TRIM. However if I click the link (even today) it has the correct trim. Email says Series: Wildtrack, but photo in email is OBX (which I clicked on) and the link to fords website for my reservation accurately shows OBX. Odd

What a cluster. I couldn't get the website to work for me until 10:31am PST on 7/14. That is what is on my reservation.

Same here... tried to reserve FE at launch. Wasn't one of the lucky ones. I did the Badlands as well.
