Yep. 04 F150 that runs well (so far, knock on wood), but has the cancer... The time is getting closer and closer for the old girl. I have a friend who actually wants to buy it sooner than later from me, but I don't want to be stranded without a vehicle to haul my pop up camper. I drove a 2.3L Ranger over the weekend and I'm very comfortable switching over from the 2.7L, if I feel it's time to take the Bronco off the 99 list.

Good luck to everyone getting their Bronco and to those who are switching away from Granger to expedite the process. Hope it works out for all of us.

What am I missing here? I appreciate seeing the numbers, but I also understand that Granger will deliver a bunch of Broncos this year. Do these numbers reflect total reservations, or the ones left after deliveries have been made (to date)? I understand that Ford cobbled together a bunch of Broncos based on available parts and made deliveries out of order in some cases. However, what I would like to know is where I stand in the remaining open, unfilled reservations?
Granger knows your status in line, which is a fluid number, because some reservists/order holders will likely change to another dealer given Ford's changing the rules to specifically effect Granger. I suppose Ford wants to discourage other dealers from offering great deals --and hence garner big numbers and upset the dealer apple cart. I was #96 and #97 on the Granger list, but was the 3rd Bronco (4 door Banks) they received (August) because I took off the tow hitch, hard top, no lux pkg, etc. The 2 door (hardtop mandated), should be in at the end of this month at Granger.

Granger had ~ 1100 reservations if I remember correctly by the end of October. I have a last day October reservation also, because I wanted green/white top etc. Granger was allocated 203 orders in 2021, but I do not know how many they will receive of those. Ford then reneged on their commitment to fill all reservation orders first, and initiated a new allocation method for 2022 to limit the Granger allocations to ~ 120/year.

So they have 700-800 reservations on paper, but many of these holders will cancel, or change dealerships (if able). If they don't cancel, then I would expect my October order to be filled ~ 2026 at the current 120/yr allocation rate to Granger. We (Granger reservists/Bronco6g members) are but a small drop in Ford's bucket, and we are irrelevant to them in the big game of sales, no matter how much we kick and scream about fairness and honoring their own policies. Their allocation policy is specifically targeted to impact Granger, and any other wanna-be mega-discounter.

My guess is that half of the Granger folks will cancel/transfer, while Bronco production continues to ramp up. Average monthly production through September was ~6k, and over 7K in October. By Jan 2022, Ford will hopefully be up and running near full production capacity ~ 10k+/month. At that rate, all reservist's orders, including Granger's, could be filled in 2022 irrespective of any allocation games, but alas, not likely to occur with Ford.

Bronco October 2021 Sales & Production Highlights
  • Bronco Sales (October): 7,364 vehicles. Sales (YTD): 17,568 vehicles.
  • Bronco Production (October): 7,668 vehicles. Production (YTD): 33,207 vehicles.

Bronco September 2021 Sales & Production Highlights
  • Bronco Sales (September): 3,396 vehicles. Sales (YTD): 10,204 vehicles.
  • Bronco Production (September): 3,916 vehicles. Production (YTD): 25,539 vehicles.

This is getting tough, trying to keep my level of patience up. Especially as I see the miles climb on my current vehicle. But I’m no quitter!

@Zach@Granger in 2021, priority code 10-19 were all equivalent. In 2022, is it still the same or will priority 10 get picked over priority 19 even if reservation timestamps are opposite.

This question has been repeated a lot, so I figured it was time to show as simply as possible where our orders stand in increments, so you can have idea where you stand based upon your timestamp.

Just to recap. We were given an allocation of 11 the first month of 2022 production. So if you estimate 10/month we'd receive 120 Broncos in 2022. If you estimate 20/month, that gets us to 240 for 2022. All times are eastern.

Also please keep in mind that this is a fluid list. People may transfer in/out, cancel reservations, or choose to hold off until the 2023 Model Year for Painted/Modular Top.

Zach- is there any way to periodically update this list, or would you prefer that we call. I know that it is a very fluid situation. Thanks.

Yes all the same still. Timestamp is what matters.

I think a lot of folks will move their orders to another dealer. It's really the only option if you want your car in a reasonable time. Waiting over two years for a mass production vehicle just doesn't make sense for most people, especially after everyone's already waited a year or more.
Highly considering it for my #900+ number reservation. But I have a lightning reservation with granger as well.

I rectified the situation by buying a Badlands Bronco Sport from Zach to help with allocations and to scratch my new car itch. If I move from ‘26 to ‘24 for the 2 door, I’ll be ok no matter what. I am a little worried that Ford could kill the 7MT. That would be a huge bummer, but then I’d move up to the V6. I’m not going to let any of this silliness bring me down.

ps: Granger has made this process extremely pleasant!

This may be the answer...Zach - how far out is a Sport - aren't the commodities/constraints fouling production & delivery as well?

Yeah, about 4 months. Quicker than that on a big bend potentially Longer with a badlands that's loaded.

I think they are bringing back mystichrome.
Zach it's good to see you retain your sense of humor in this drama that has unfolded around you and your customers. I wondered how you were managing. Keep up the good attitude! 😄
