I'm going to add white ditch lights by the A pillars but I also want amber/yellow lights for snowy/foggy weather. I have considered a slim 30"-32" bar right on top of the capable bumper but there's only a 2" gap there and I worry a bar there will block airflow and cause issues. Any suggestions?

Just do a fog light kit:

We let you pick what color lights you want. Our kits include the lights, mounting brackets (which we make here in the USA out of stainless steel + powder coat them black) + our wiring harness.

You can pick white and yellow (amber) lights which work well for bad weather.

Light bars on top of the bumper should not be used on public roads, so stick with the fog light kits that you can use on public roads.

Light bars are for off-road use honestly.
