We’re planning to trade in our modded Wrangler Sport for a Badlands, but today my wife needed to get the oil changed so she took it into the dealership to get it taken care of and found this:

I admit, Sarge Green is pretty damn good looking. Any with me being an Army Vet, I was tempted. But my wife was pretty much drooling over the thing. She even test drove it.

I went over a few hours later to look at it. This one had the 2.0liter and Auto tranny. Again, not a bad looking vehicle. I was considering it but the dealer’s salesman SAVED ME. He told me that they were only selling at MSRP. No Discounts... WHEW!! Close call. Even my wife said to hell with that...

June 2021 can’t get here soon enough.

Love that color too. Wish they offered it on the Bronco. According to sources like Mopar Insiders, the 2021 Rubicon is going to have additional features to help it compete against the Bronco. Full-time Rock-Trac system, Forward facing camera, and an Off-Road Plus mode are some new features. I'm also counting down the days until June 2021.

Never heard of a Jeep dealer not willing to negotiate. I'm sure it can't be that hard to find another one if you wanted. Especially with them potentially loosing customers because of the Bronco. You would think they would try and get people buying Jeep now before Bronco's start showing up.

Jeep rarely/never does discounts on the Rubicon. Other trims, yes.

That will probably change in about 10 months.

FWIW Dealer doesn't have to honor it, but Tread Lightly program will get you 1% under invoice

The one pictured was 58K but there was another Sarge Green for 55K.

I could have just gone to another dealer but frankly this got my wife off the Rubicon train for a while. She's back onto waiting for the Rubicon. That waiting is the biggest risk in us not buying one. We've been really pushing the capabilities of our Sport. With a life and 35s, it's done an admirable job but we want to to some more serious crawling. That's why we're going to get a Badlands with the Sasquatch pkg and even the lift kit with 37s if Ford ends up offering that.

My friend was shopping one out a few weeks ago and said that they don't offer 0% on the Rubicon either. I thought that was odd.
