I am looking for a compressor for the Bronco. I am not sure which one would be set suited for me. I am looking at the following models.

1. The ford ARB portable. ARB Ford Performance Portable Air Compressor Kit ~ M1830FPAC

2.The ARB Twin portable. Amazon.com: ARB (CKMTP12) 12V Twin Motor High Performance Portable Air Compressor : Automotive

3. The KR offroad ARB Compressor Engine Bay Mount: KR Off-Road ARB Compressor Engine Bay Mount for 2021+ Ford Bronco - 4x4TruckLEDs.com

I can use my pass points to get the ford one, but I am not sure it will suit my needs. If I go with the KR Offroad, I probably will go with the ARB Dual, but with the 2.7 it is a tight fit.

I actually didnā€™t think the fit was too bad with the 2.7. It fits very well. I just need to connect the modified wiring harness, then it should be good to go. SUPER easy install.
i also need to finish installing my rear port as well, but thatā€™s not required.

Get a portable if you plan to switch between vehicles. Otherwise get the KR mount. Between the single and the dual, it just depends how fast you want to air up.

Here are my setups. Original was the co2 setup in my jeep, then went with the viair 400p when I started towing an offroad camper & final setup is the twin arb portable. Saves me considerable time when Im airing up to 6 33ā€-35ā€ tires at a time multiple times during outings.

Curious..did you install yours with the connection toward the firewall for a particular reason? Installed mine facing the front but haven't wired yet so wondering if there was a reason before I do wire it the way I have it now.

thanks for the Replies. One other Question say I go with the Portable ARB, would I be able to mount it later if I decided I want to go that route?

Good question. I've only seen them facing the firewall and had been wondering why.

I have seen a lot of install pics facing the firewall. However, their website shows it with the chuck facing the grill so that's what I went with. Instructions didn't specify from what I could see.

Any thoughts @4x4TruckLEDs.com ?

I did it this way too because the label is right side up. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Haha...can't say I didn't prefer it that way as well because the label looked better.

Back on task....I feel that the ARB twin is the gold standard for onboard air. I do have the single on my TJ (which I believe is likely the Ford Performance kit compressor)but is has smaller tires so the twin is unnecessary. If airing up 35s or larger the twin will be much more efficient. The single will get it done just expect extra time. Should also mention twin ARB has a fan so it has a 100% duty cycle if you plan on helping others air up.

As mentioned already portability is nice with the boxed packages and the ARB with tank will allow use of some air tools which could come in handy (not that you can't add a tank in an onboard application with some additional work).

In the end depends on your application and how patient you can be if filling larger tires.

Napa Maxi trac is really good and only cost 100 bucks. Donā€™t have air lockers donā€™t see a need to mount a air compressor under the hood. This thing is bad ass I was really impressed on how fast it filled my tires back up it beats most of the competition if not all

Comes with a little black bag I just sit it in the back before I go wheeling.

Just picked up this week from Napa parts. Great buy! Amazingly fast.
