Which Curt wiring kit for non-LED taillights

I see Curt has two 4-pole wiring kits out now for non-LED Broncos:
C59236 on etrailer
and
C87BR on etrailer

Looks like one splices into the tailight wiring and the other uses adapter plugs.

Can anybody recommend one over the other?
