Does anyone know which manufacturers will bring tailgate reinforcements onto the market? My favorite so far has been the Ford Performance (Bronco Raptor) but I don't think it will fit because the screw holes are spaced differently. So far I've only ever seen the RC but maybe other manufacturers are planning some more. Let me know which one you can recommend and maybe you have more information if the Ford Performance might fit. Thanks and regards Marvin

Oh yes, what I like about it is that it seems very modular and designed for 40ā€ tires. More than I need but good to know it would hold the weight.

I'll likely go RC because I don't plan on going nuts with the weight back there... I would like to mount a Jerry can to the reinforcement plate and recovery boards to the spare tire.

Yes hope no for a design like the raptor for the standard. RC is decent but have read reviews the included hardware screws are smaller than the factory.

@EIGHTLUG was thinking about making one. Right now RTR is the best one no ETA those.

Alright... I may take this project on. If I remember right, the old broncos had the tire swing gate, which allowed the tire to swing out, and then the tailgate came down like the ranger image above. Doesn't seem too hard. Thanks for the idea.

might be worth it to take the spare off when youā€™re offroading, seems itā€™s a 37 issue that the tailgate bends as the truck is flexing out, with or without the current reinforcements on the market

The RTR one looks beefy, but only time will tell. Itll cost well over $1100 and isnā€™t even out yet

Itā€™ll also be $1,200 when it comes out. RC is waaaay cheaper (not in a bad way either)

What reviews? Smaller "screws"? You mean bolts?? The mounting bolts?
