Yes the Whipple Megacooler was installed before we did the 0-60 testing. Still haven't hit the dyno with it but we intend to get to that next week sometime.

I'll also say while monitoring IAT and ACT temps that the megacooler does an amazing job keeping the spread between those two temps very close to one another. So heat soak from high IAT's doesn't seem to be an issue at all with the cal and megacooler.
Are temps an issue with the flash and no megacooler?

And perhaps even more specifically, how much lower are relevant temperatures? Can a Braptor monitor intake air temp without an additional OBD device?

As noted prior, this is probably more for longevity than for any noticeable increase in power.

I honestly didn't really pay attention to the temps pre intercooler. However I did datalog the 0-60 runs so I'll ask Dustin for the pre and post IC temps with the stock intercooler and report back.

You can monitor inlet air temps and aftercooler temps with the gauges on the vehicle. Just go to my gauges and select those two and you'll be able to monitor them in real time without needing to plug in a separate device.

Can this be used for 87 octane?
I’d be more into the shifting and drive ability than the extra power n torque

Yes, it autodetects your octane level using the knock sensors.

You ever going to install the Whipple IC and then run the Dyno test with the tune and IC?
As much as I'd love to get that done we have so many other projects we're working on that I don't know exactly when we would be able to get back on the dyno. We recently took delivery of our 2024 mustang gt manual which we have a ton of stuff we need to test and film with and our dark horse is right behind it.

If we can find the time to get the Braptor back on the dyno we'll make sure to let everyone know.

Love the Whipple upgrade. Got it installed yesterday and the vehicle just drives so much nicer...

A weird thing happened though... my transmission shift numbers on the digital dash turned yellow.

Whipple tune owners (or @LethalPerformance). This tune raises the redline, IIRC, by 500 rpm. Is that change shoen properly on the digital tachometer?

The actual rev limit is changed. However the redline display on the dash doesn't. That's a feature they are unable to change with the calibration.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
