Whipple Stage 1 Kit coming for Bronco Raptor! (Dropped mine off for R&D)

Whipple was looking for a Braptor for R&D. I live kinda close so I offered mine for testing. They said they’re working on a Stage 1 kit, I’m assuming it will be a tune with an intercooler and possibly an intake, but I’m not really sure. They’ll have it for a few weeks, hopefully it comes home faster!!!

Yeah, the intercoolers been out for a little bit. The new stuff will be the tune and intake.

That's a JB4 device like the one we run on our Bronco Raptor. They don't flash the vehicle or have the ability to change transmission stuff, gear ratios and tire size, top speed limiter as well as disable the auto start/stop feature.

The Whipple stage 1 will be an intake/filter upgrade, intercooler and Tomahawk flash device with a 50 state legal calibration. It's a full flash with the ability to change tire/gear ratios, disable auto start/stop and a few other things. The full flash from Whipple also changes shift points and the shift schedule as well as raises the top speed limiter.

We run their stage 1 kit on our First Edition and it's bad ass. Looking forward to testing this on our Braptor once it's available.

Whipple has their own software which is similar to what Ford OEM tuning is done with and their calibrations are made by a Ford calibrator who is contracted by them. Their tunes also go in for emissions testing and approval before being released so they can be 50 state legal.

SCT software is different and depending on who you go with for the tune itself if being emissions compliant is something you're wanting you'll have to ask whoever is going to tune the vehicle if they have that.
