This is a safety feature that Ford engineers spent months developing. By design, most Broncos will be driven in the "wilds" and protecting wildlife was first and foremost on the minds of the development team.! Jeep owners must rely on Amazon to obtain this important feature.!So...to resurrect an older thread...has anyone done an at-home fix yet? I didn't mind the whistle so much with the top down and a mixture of nature-related noises. But now with the top up more due to weather it is getting annoying...
The part to fix this came in today, will update how the fix worked.I have about 2000 miles on my OBX, almost all highway. Starts right around 73mph, however once I hit 80mph it becomes intermittent and not as loud. I hope the cops understand why I'm doing 80.
