Whistle TSB worked -- the fix is new hood seals

My big bend came with the built in deer repellent whistles, figured Ford had a fix for it by now, took it in and yes there is a TSB (technical service bulletin) for this exact issue on all models with this grill, the fix is new hood seals as I believe has been stated in here before, just wanted to let all know they have a free fix and had it back to me in a day….I guess with technical service bulletins they don’t let you know there is one till you bring your vehicle in with a problem….whistle is now gone thank god…..

There are potentially two depending on the cause/location. The hood seal I believe is 21-2345:

Oh man I didn’t know deer whistles was an option and never saw it advertised anywhere? Is it in included in stock builds? Is there an aftermarket part number for them?

Over 40 mph it started, after initial fix no issue to this day

I have a 22 Big Bend and haven’t heard any whistle at that speed. Between 20-30 I get a super faint whistle and haven’t pinpointed it. If you have music on you’d never notice it but if the stereo is off you can hear it just enough to annoy you.
