Anyone else plan on going with the my21 and then buying the white top when it comes out later/pending aftermarket availability?
I’m thinking of that. When does MY2022 start arriving? December 2021 January 2022? I’m assuming.

I wanted the modular top for my 2DR. but will not wait because the MIC top doesn't bother me. I'll just wait for the aftermarket to get a soft-top for summer.. I had always wanted a hardtop for my Jeep so this whole situation was never a big deal to me.

Looks like I may definitely be added the mid package, now that the modular top is out.

Doesn’t change my plans. The MIC top isn’t pretty but I can beat it up without fearing (or feeling guilty about) scratches and chips. Once a few WNY winters start making the roof leak, I’ll be looking for an aftermarket replacement anyway.

Well this is about as good a news I could expect at this point. At least we are getting the white top and I was hoping it wouldn’t have to be until MY22, so I’m good with this news. Just buy one later if you really want it.

I have a feeling a lot of cool stuff will be coming for the 2022. It might be wise to wait for the next round. If you have patience.

For me, I’ll settle for the gray top and get white when available.
Interesting question. I know with Jeeps there haven't been any changes within the generations - save for refreshes - that would alter anything. I could see there being minor changes to the 2022 based on 2021 feedback (whistling noise or other) but that shouldn't prevent the tops from working.
I believe it read it would be introduced in 2022 model year and not that it was specifically the 2022 model

I'd love a white top but not sure I love it for $1895.....

As a cheap bastard I'm struggling with price. A new bronco will likely be more than the last 2 cars I have bought COMBINED.

As someone who is getting the MY22 due to a late reservation and doesn't care if I get the MIC grey one, I'm tempted to select the dual top option and just trade someone my black top for their MIC top, so I have both a soft and MIC hard top.

I doubt you can wrap and possible not be able to paint that MIC top. I mean it is not smooth... it has a texture and my gut tells me a wrap would not stick very well.

It's crazy how many times I've changed my mind on this build due to new info...

Initially, I was completely sold on that original 4dr CG Badlands with the white roof... Then we were told it was a one-off and the white roof wasn't happening so I shifted to A51 with a painted black top (I've also waffled on 33's vs 35's weekly)...

In light of this news, I feel like it's down to A51 with the soft top (and then buy the white HT later) or CG with the MIC (the only color I think it looks somewhat palatable on).

Can't wait to see how many times I'm going to change with B&P... It's going to be a late night!
