Did you cave on the MIC top?

Decided that I want it sooner rather than wait late into next year. I have an Aug 3 (2020) reservation, so hoping to get my rig in the 1st half of 22!

According to my dealer, I will absolutely get it sooner if I switch to the soft top.

Will be interesting to see what becomes available in the aftermarket over the next few years.

I switched to the soft top. My '21 order was a velocity blue Wildtrak with MIC top but I never got a build date. For '22 I switched to a carbonized gray squatched Badlands with soft top. I want my Bronco sooner but I also won't mind the soft top while waiting for a black MOD top in '23. I think the black will go nicely with the carb gray.

I caved and switched. I was worried I'd get pushed to 23, so I'd rather get it sooner and find a hard top later.

I have a feeling my day 1 reservation is going to be 0% helpful in getting my bronco any sooner . Ford has so many variables with constraints, allocations, adm, etc, the order/reservation system should definitely have an *asterisk that says maybe.

I'm a hybrd. I switched tops but also switched colors. The black top will look better with the EG.

Been stuck with one since last year when I placed my order. 2dr don't get soft. Slip me my MIC(key)! LOL!

Staying strong here.

I ultimately plan on getting both tops, but buying a hard top after delivery is probably going to cost $3500-$4000. A soft top after delivery will probably be around $1500-$2000. I can wait an extra 8-12 months to save a thousand bucks or so.

Plus I live in New England, and I’ve seen a fair amount of soft top Jeeps that caved in after some extra snow weight.

I switched to the soft top, but getting my build sooner didn't really factor in. I started watching more YT vids showing off the soft top and reading more stories about the loudness, leaks and fitment issues of the hard top (even the 2.0 ones) and just kind of came to the conclusion that I'd probably like the soft top better than the hard top. The Bronco is more of a "summer vehicle" for me anyway. Most of the time I'm driving it, it'll be completely topless.

Two door order for me so the only option to switch tops is to switch doors. Not going to do that

Switched to softy (mainly because of the announcement of AMB going away for MY22), on August 21st, and took Delivery Oct 7th. Would still like to have the MIC top, but really loving the convenience of the soft top more than I thought I would.

I hate the factory soft top. The best top aftermarket seems to fit much better. Will patiently continue waiting for the MIC top and order a best top when/if if ever get a Bronco.

When I ordered my Badlands this last Saturday, my dealer estimated a fifteen-month wait if I hold out for a hard top, or a nine-month wait with a soft top.

After test-driving a Wildtrak with a soft top, I decided I can live with that until a hard top becomes available later.

I'm holding out for MOD top still. I'd rather get what I want and not settle for a soft top now and pay an extra arm and a leg later (whenever later might be) at the parts department.
