I typically only fill up when it gets below 5. I have pulled into gas stations several times on 1's and once on 0. Drives my wifes nuts. Not my Bronco but my F150:

Lol, right. At 13 miles left I'm not even stressed yet. Matter of fact I start stressing when my final bar disappears (when I had a jeep), so I supposed I'd start stressing when I actually hit 0 in the bronco.

4-door gas tank is advertised at 20.8 gallons. So, assuming that is correct and there is no reserve, I was left 0.7 gallons. MY BL 2.3 manual with 37's gets close to 14 mpg. So I should actually have had a range of 9+ miles left.

Lol, I looked up this thread to reference how much fuel I put in my tank. Anyway, re-read your comment and then looked at my dash pic. Never realized I had even quadruple 8's on the odometer! Had I known I would have circled the parking lot a bunch of times for that extra eighth.

I always drive right past without noticing too. Missed the six 1's and 2's, hopefully I'll catch it for the 3's..it's only a few k away. It's too bad Ford doesn't program in some kind of chime for interesting mileage numbers to let you know you're getting close to stuff like that.

I pulled in to CostCo yesterday with the gauge saying six (6) miles remaining. It dropped to five (5) miles while I was waiting in line to fill up. My receipt says it took 21.468 gallons; and my Bronco showed five (5) miles remaining? WTF? This is reported to be a 20.8 gallon tank. Either Ford is lying or CostCo is?
