I have a few American sports cars, here is my American “super car” with a pony car trying to keep up

Man, I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Vipers! I just couldn't find anything reasonable so I got a Corvette! the prices of the 1st Gen climbed up big time after Covid, there was a lot of great options under $35K back in March, now good luck finding anything below $40K.

I always thought that the mustang and Camaro wee classified as pony cars or muscle cars.

AC cobra and corvette as sports cars.

Sure does. A sports car has two seats, handles well with good power to weight ratio.

Not a sports care, but here's my '01 Bullitt. Bought it off the showroom floor 19 years ago and love it today as much as I did back then. I've had it on the track many times and that's where I enjoy driving it the most.

2011 GT, 5.0 6 speed manual. Lund tuned on E85, lowered 1.5” staggered 19” wheels.
Runs 12.60 @ 116 babying it in full street trim.
Adding a badlands 2 door velocity blue, 2.7 auto, LUX.
I can’t wait, seems like a perfect pair to me.

Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (C5, C6, C7; the C5 is parked next to my neighbor's C4):

The C7Z06 has the OE summer tires on the OE black rims. They are switched out for all-seasons on OE chrome wheels when the temps drop to ~40F. Night/day difference in the look of the car.
