Who gets the marine vinyl?

BD and OBX are polar opposites, and yet I'm torn between the two. By the time I build the BD to my specs it costs the same as my OBX build because the OBX has most of what I want standard. Still, the marine vinyl keeps me looking at the BD.

Yeah, I think it's why I dismissed it. I don't crawl rocks.... 98%road.... And hated the stock wheels, so didn't go further. But with the optional wheels.....

Same boat, same problem. By the time I fix the OB rim situation I am over budget, BUT I can't stand black plastic mirrors and door handles. Fenders are coming off either way.

Went to the Seattle event today to see them in person - the MGV is actually very nice - I was looking at the OB with leather - but after seeing and feeling the MGV - I am switching.

I'm torn - going for the Badlands where this is standard but, if you want power seats, you have to ditch the marine vinyl and go for leather. Ugh.

BTW my Dad was a career Marine so when I hear "marine vinyl" this is what I think of. We owned this album (among many others) and this is what he played on the ginormous Grundig console he picked up and brought back from Germany. Honestly this was among some of the better selections because his musical taste was . . . suspect. Between the USMC Band and the New Christy Minstrels or the Ray Coniff Singers I'm going with the Marines every time!

Where are the videos of "normal" vs "signature" lights lit up. Same for tail lights.

I clicked leather last night, laughed and backed out to building a BD.

It does get you power seats though.

I wish the Black Diamond could get front and rear LEDs. Not sure why the Big Bend can get LED headlights but the BD cannot.

Every time I get into and out of the driver’s seat in my wife’s Bronco lol.

I decided to go BD. At first I despised BD because of steel rims, vinyl and not really carpeted floors, and I won't be doing extreme off-roading. But reading threads out here, I've been steered back to BD. Those items kind of grew on me and now I am excited for BD. Plus I live in MN, where it's pretty much winter half the year, and I track salty, slushy, muddy, snow into my car. The carpet in my car has petrified from the salt over the years. Will be nice to have a wash out floor/interior.

It's the best interior. The cloth looks terrible and will be a mess off road or with kids. It's keeping me in one of those two trims.

Not paying $2100 for leather which is a less durable material.

I am scared of the heat factor of the vinyl. I am getting cloth and putting neoprene covers on the cloth seats.

Have to stay with the BD, although we won’t be doing much extreme off roading the MVS and no carpet seems to make sense.

I really wanted the MGV. But the lack of lighter colors probably has me out.

Aren’t there plugs under carpet on BL? Can the carpet be removed for high activity days?
