Who makes a hardtop storage / lift / hoist?

I made one with a boat winch and a roller pulley. I had an 04' hard top Rubicon and it worked great. Harbor freight has some light duty winches that you can mount and use as well.

I went yesterday to test drive my salesman's 4 dr Wildtrak. I've driven one at Off Roadeo but wanted to experience highway driving. He's had it about 3 weeks. Mine's sitting at Dirt Mountain waiting on a new top. I asked my salesman if he had taken his top off yet. He said yes and showed a scuff in the paint by the taillight. His wife was helping and she let it slip a bit. He's looking for suggestions on a lift. Oh and he already had a cracked windshield. I think we're all going to have windshield damage. Better prepare for it now!

I made my own with a Harbour Freight winch, 2 pieces of Home Depot steel u- channel, 4 I bolts and ratchet straps. Took about 2 hours and cost less than $150 for my JKU top. I would imagine it would be just a matter of finding the CG of the Bronco top and adjusting pickup points.

Make your own out of 2x4s, some rope and a hand winch. Here’s my Jeep hard top lift which I will repurpose for the Bronco by moving one of the 2x4s on the ceiling back slightly to now lift the Bronco top. Hard to see in this pic bit the hand winch (center rear) is on the wall connect to all ropes so 1 person can remove and re install the top.

Not so fast, once the roof is suspended, you have to let it down again if you ever want it on the vehicle!

I'm going for a simple hoist and trolly which allows the top to not sit in the middle of the garage when not in use. You can use ratchet straps or standard nylon loading straps in a loop to mount under the clamshell.

Love this solution...It allows you to store the middle section and potentially the front panels on top along with the roof.

Has anyone found a solution for the rear and middle MIC top sections, other than stacking them on top of each other? Trying to find something that can be done by one person.
