I do wonder about that. The published numbers are all over the place but it would seem a WT is about 75" tall. I should be right around 2" taller. The trailers I'm looking at have 7ft ceilings, so I'd have 7" of overhead clearance. But what if I have to do drive over fenders?
Let the air out of the tires.

There's some taller options too, this one is 7'7" tall inside. That should be plenty.

yeah I was going to mention extended height cargo trailers, but the drive over the wheel wells might come into play. Worse case I would just put small donuts on the Bronco for travel, but that obviously takes up more space. Also I would look at trailers with Torsion axles option, spring is old school, still works but the majority of new trailers are Torsion.

Not the ceiling height that will get you, it's the door opening where the spring and cable are located. It's lower than the ceiling.

If you can (my trailer dealer allowed this), bring the Bronco to the dealer and load it in a trailer and let them calculate tongue weight, etc. This may influence where the vehicle sits in the trailer which can then effect how much usable space you have left. You'd think a 24' trailer is huge, but once you get the car where it needs to be for tongue weight, as well as figure out where your stuff needs to be, it may be tight.

Example: My race car had to sit further back in the trailer to make up for cabinets, toolbox & spares in the front of the trailer in order to get the tongue weight into a safe range.

I've never lived with an enclosed trailer so let me bounce this off you guys. I have an idea to pick up a 8.5x24 or so 10-14k gvwr cargo trailer for two purposes.

I'd like to have a small sleeping area up front and put the Bronco inside and tow it with my truck for long distance wheeling trips, and also use it for hauling product for my business.

Anyone care to poke holes in my idea?

I have exactly what you described. 8.5x24' enclosed trailer, mine is all aluminum, and has nice cabinets in it. I tow the Jeep, or the rock buggy, or the race car in it, and I will tow the Bronco in it occasionally. I love my enclosed trailer. It's mostly permanently set up with the things I need for wheeling trips. Go for it!

You have to look at door height rather than trailer ceiling height. The spring mechanism on the rear door uses some space above the door. Best to get a 7.5' ceiling trailer for our off road vehicles.

Sometimes it's the simplest solution that's overlooked.

Lower air pressure, and especially changing tires, is a PIA. Get the taller trailer and keep it simple.

Oof I won an online auction today. I might have screwed myself with a 20 footer but the barn doors and 14k axles where perks for product hauling.

Worst case I'll flip it, there's room to get out and even make a few bucks.

More like "Bring a Truck and Get Your Trailer Out of Our Yard"

I have to drive 5 hours to get it, not awful.

Worst case, you can likely drive the Alcan and sell it up here for $$.

The sawed-off half trailers mentioned made me think of the schoolie solution:
