Just a general question: Who thinks the sway bar disconnect should be a stand alone option.

Maybe in MY22 ford could make this happen, or what's ya'll thoughts on this?

Maybe in MY22 ford could make this happen, or what's ya'll thoughts on this?
I would prefer that everything be a stand alone option so I can get exactly what I want...but Ford probably learned from Jeep with Rubicon and the disconnect....that a whole lot of people will go way up in trim to get it. Thus...probably not going to happen anytime soon.

How does a sway bar disconnect help you if you don't have a front locker? The point is the package's items work together. I too wish Ford had more ala' carte items but I don't want the icing on top without the cake under it.

Of the few items I'm ok with being locked away behind expensive trims, the sway bar disconnect is one of them. As was mentioned above it really needs to be part of an entire package.

After 6 months it seems that most folks can’t even select a color... and you think they can handle more options? 😉
I was just at a dealer yesterday to..... review colors!! Ha!

Can you imagine if the Bronco had a LuxPlus package which.... wait for it... included extra cup holders?!!! 🤯

The base Badlands is already pretty stripped-down. You can have everything you'd want from an off-roader from the factory for $43k, which really isn't a bad deal. You have to do nothing to it to take it exploring, it's turn-key if you will.

I would say the disconnect is even more important if you don't have a front locker. If you lift a tire and have a locker, the front axle still pulls. Without a locker, you're just fanning the air if you can't keep both tires on the ground.

While we're dreaming, make the rear locker a standalone option so I can skip the sasquatch package and save 6 grand :cool:
