It high horsepower ,lack of traction ,short wheelbase, marginal skill, walter mitty syndrome .Back when I handled claims it was very common to see crashed Vipers like this. Supercars are a different animal
Same , it's a trust thing.I got no problem letting friends and family borrow it, if needed. It's just a car.
Awesome! I saw lots of crazy stuf, but the number of Vipers, in particular was shocking. They had no traction control, brutal driving position and for the day, extreme power. Those monster tires were know for a lot of grip and a very sharp transition from sticking to sliding! Weirdest claim? 2 day old F250 crew cab 4x4. Got in his truck after Elk hunting and accidentally fired a 300 WinMag through the floor, transmission and into the block. $15k for the drivetrain. I just totaled it, the salvage value was so high it was cheaper. It high horsepower ,lack of traction ,short wheelbase, marginal skill, walter mitty syndrome .
I bet as a claims guy you saw lots of crazy stuff.
Its always good to have a designated driver heres mine.
^^^^ This guy gets it.I mean my daughter already drives my Porsches when she wants to, so I can’t imagine why I wouldn’t let her drive the bronco. And I taught her how to drive a manual when she was 15.

It is so choice. If they can drive manual, they're more than welcome to drive it. It ain’t a Ferrari.
And yes she was kicked off my insurance. Picked up a salvage title 1984 BMW 635csi (pictured in the avatar) for $990. She had to carry her own liability. She had a love hate relationship with that car. Wasn't a big fan at the time but will admit missing it now.My daughter had 4 at fault accidents from age 16 to 22. One totaled. She is now 24 with 2 years accident free. Yes she could still drive it but she won't be driving it unless I am sitting right next to her. She obviously needs a spotter.
Just know that the insurance on the vehicle take precedence over the drivers, so your insurance would actually pay for it.I don't really care who, if something breaks or they crash they can pay for it, its not a super rare car its a bronco, thay being said the only people who probley will is my siblings and my best friends
