Who's a 7/19 build?

So I just finished the bronco off roadeo in Nevada and I met the GM of Western U.S. and he gave me his card and I’m going to email him and see if he can do anything for me. Even if it’s just info.

How was it? Headed to NV in 2 weeks and was thinking of checking it out.

Do it! It was so worth it. They legit take care of you. The catering was actually good and providing lunch and dinner was nice. the trails are hard and technical but still a lot of fun. They take you from nothing to having the confidence to take your bronco off road and not be afraid to ruin it. Was lucky to have a small group so if you can go a weekday I recommend that.

Not a bad looking temp vehicle. If you have kids who will be driving soon may not be a bad thing to spend some fix up $$ on. Good luck with it - hope you don’t need to use it too long.

yeah I'll probably go down again today to see what I see since I'm not too far from downtown. Yeah my dealer said the quickest he's seen them take it off the train and get it on the truck is 1-2 days but it most likely takes 3-5 days. When I was there yesterday they were loading them up fast so I dont think it would take them that long. Well I hope it doesnt

Where is your Bronco?

I was working up at Hill AFB and trying to see it on a car hauler headed north, but didn't see any broncos at all on the haulers. Tell me it arrived!

Well boys and girls it finally arrived! 398 days later and here it is in all its glory! Reserved 07/16, built 08/02, shipped 08/03 and delivered 08/18, taken delivery 08/19.
took the standard wheels and tires off and put on Nitto trail grapplers (35x12.50r17) and fuel covert bronze wheels (17x9)with a +1 offset. Loving the poke on them. Driving it home was a dream and there was no transport damage and drove amazing! Can’t wait to start the journey with this BADASS bronco!

I'm making due with the Oldsmobile for my top down experiences this summer (like many summers before), since the idea of top off driving in my Bronco without snow in 2021 is all but gone.

Sorry to vent - need a little therapy today

I explored trying to escalate my missing Bronco through the customer service chat on my Ford Account. As expected, they recommended that i call my dealer. I responded that my dealer has tried and told me they are not getting any info from Ford and said that it is wholly awful customer service not to have some mechanism that allows the customer to escalate an issue like this and request a trace on my Vin to check the status when there have been no updates for 30+ days. The Service rep thought that would be a good idea but did not offer to try anything like that.

So after the discussion ended I get a “would you like to take a satisfaction survey” - Why yes, yes I would … and proceeded to blast Ford in my responses. Will likely end up with my Bronco moving to the back end of whatever line I am in but I felt that I needed to do it.

With that said I have started looking at other options. I have never been necessarily loyal to a specific manufacturer and this will be the first Ford I have owned (my wife had an Expedition a number of years ago) and I won’t be back. If I do end up with the Bronco it will be a one time Ford purchase. Ford’s total lack of communication or willingness to provide any level of service to help has turned me off to the entire organization.

Rant finished…. Back to normal programming….
