Looks like I bought in Q3 2020. Apparently, I need to mirror your portfolio @LSTLAF . I've definitely had winners and losers over the years but I'm somewhat risk adverse and that sometimes works against me, other times to my advantage. I'm a swing trader, not a day trader. I invest through paid pro's and independently. Generally, I outperform one of the pro's, which leads me to reduce their slice of the investment pie over time.

To answer the original thread question, not me. Not enough $ solely in F stock but a good return (on paper) as of today.

You can bet on whatever you want, but the broad stock market is my bet vs a company that exists in the no-margin, completely saturated auto market.

If only I had the time or money to really get deep into that. I will just put all my eggs in one basket, so as long as that basket keeps building cool cars.

Actively betting on one company is way more work than just buying a share of EVERY company. VTSAX is a ticker for the total stock market. VOO is a ticker for S&P 500, the 500 largest companies in the USA.

Yeah Ford is laughing all the way to the bank on this. Stock up 9%, And all they've done is make promises they can't keep.

My problem is If you look at Fords past stock performance, other than a spike back in like 1998, their stock has always been under $20 a share and is pretty much flat.

So yeah, if you happen to get GameStop with a crystal ball ride it for a bit and then I would dump it as soon as you made some good money and not get greedy. Because I doubt Ford is doing something now that they haven't been able to do since their inception is going to turn their stock into Tesla.
